Why do I need to close my visa if I have already left the country?
A visa remains valid in the system even after you leave. If it's not officially cancelled, fines may be imposed and problems may arise upon subsequent entry or when applying for a new visa. These rules do not apply to tourist visas, which, if not extended, simply expire without any further action.
What happens if I don't close my visa on time?
